'Unleash Your Potential' is a book by Abegande Sunday O, dealing with motivation and the path to success, with emphasis on releasing ones full potential. It does present a holistic look at the issue in sight, exhorting one and all to "let good tidings sink into hearts and flow to your subconscious that they pop up naturally, as needs arise".The introduction, which proclaims loudly that success comes only to "those who discover and unleash their potential" amply prepares the reader for a promising discussion, which he begins, by identifying the reasons for experiencing failure in discovering oneself. He lists down eight such pitfalls one may encounter, the list rightly featuring 'fear of failure' as the foremost. Specific references are made to seven more upsetting circumstances one should always be prepered to face, the effects of 'negative company and inferiority complex' leading the list.
Giving an interesting twist to this dissertation, he proclaims that "you are a born winner, the product from the winner among the sperm cells deposited in the mothers womb". Taking another turn to the adversities, he notes that the bigger ones potential, the more the criticisms one stands to get. He further dwells at length on the ways ones potential is to be harnessed, what fuels it and what unleashes. He mentions about the wonders failure can do for us if we want, by quoting the story of Roger Bannister who converted his failure as an athlete in 1952 olympics to the most successful performance by any athlete, by breaching the four minute barrier of a mile run, two years hence.
His syllogism "your time is your life therefore, procrastination is subtle form of suicide" is aimed at all of us, those who come across a multitude of opportunities but remain unsuccessful in grabbing them by mere lack of alertness.
What better conclusion can fit this critique than the accolades he pays to those who come out from an examination in flying colors. "For them the examination started the very first day by paying attention to the teacher. Time spent in writing the examination was only the concluding part".

After reading Unleash Your Potential during my last holiday, I almost got confused about what kind of book this really is.
I had thought it is just another motivational book to be read for the pleasure of just reading as in to scare off boredom.
Little did I know I was in for a bigger bargain. I got much more value for my money.
Besides the fact that it is so inspiring, lines in this book has their way of permanently gluing to memories of readers like I. Even for days after reading, I still feel it effect. It changes view of a lot life issues. It also teaches the importance of investing in others' life. It also teaches how our relationships (official, marital, lover...) affects our potentials.
Until you get yours, you may not know what you are missing.

Every reader's review of this book I read before I had bought mine agreed that this book is truly Inspiring and motivating! BUT the conflict is a few (non-christian) readers think it's too religious. After I read, I found that I was almost mislead by reviews which say this is TOO religious. Sincerely it's balanced.
This is a self help book which strikes great balance between inspirational view (Religious) and motivational view (General) of its title "Unleash Your Potential". I love the wisdom applied by this writer. He place all religious talk together in chapter 11 thereby giving you the option of skipping. No other chapter is in anyway religious.
Every chapter is so powerfully loaded and so unbelievably inspirational and poignant. I have no iota of doubt in me that this book will positively change 95% of its readers for good. I am so happy I invested in this book. I would gift this to my friends so they don't miss the goodies in this book. God bless this author.
I know there are many junk books indle authors promote for sale on so I am always extra careful to buy self-help books. I had falling victim of half-baked nonsense articles presented as book on .
The introduction of this which I skimmed through while shopping on my kindle store actually made me to buy this. I see it's not a wishy-washy kindle. I saw it won awards. I saw it is a REAL book sold even at bookshops so I was satisfied I had bought a standard book.
After buying this book, I read on with glowing dimples and enjoyed every bit of it. It's really motivational.
Business wise, the author should have split into three books and sell if for times three of the price. It's seems to me like he had just chosen to give this book as gift to readers and help people like me save money. I write this review to say thank you Mr Author (I hope he finds this).
Unleash Your Potential is a very heavy philosophical guide that talks of interference barriers common that deter you from recognizing and unleashing your true potential.
The author does a nice job validating his perceptions with quotes and paraphrases that compliment.
Lots of great information when all is said and done. A little cloudy for me because I do better with straight take-action facts. But a GYNORMOUSLY informational guide that will help you find the TRUE you. The one that's hiding inside you.
I recommend you open your mind, grab this book, and let the author know what you gained! Good stuff!
